A Railway Birthday

Come and celebrate your child’s birthday by spending the day at Exporail.  Along with a Museum guide, your child and his guests can pretend to be railroad workers.

They will be given access to three vehicles in the Grand Gallery. They will experiment operating no. 9400 a diesel electric locomotive and no. 713 a steam locomotive. While visiting the caboose they will learn how railroad workers lived aboard a train. Depending on the season, they can ride our outdoor miniature railway (from March to November) and hop on a period streetcar (from June to October)

Birthdays tours are only available Saturday or Sunday mornings and last approx.1 hour. After the guided tour, your guests can stay and explore our entire facility and discover more railway heritage. The activity is not offer during the Railway Christmas, from the end of November to the beginning January.

Capacity: 5 to 12 children
Duration: 1 hour
Age Group: 4 to 10 years
Rate: $170.00 + taxes, rate is for a maximum of 12 children and 3 adults. Special rates are available for additional guests.

Other Information:
–  Two adults must accompany the children at all times.
–  No candles or decorations are allowed indoors.  
–  From September to mid-June, the « Le tramway » coffee shop cafeteria may be used for a children’s party (refreshments provided by the customer). From mid-June to August a party is permitted in the picnic areas only.
